Protect the property first.
Confirm utilities, insurance, mail, mortgage or rent dates, and a local contact who can check in. Vacant homes deteriorate fast.
Plan trips strategically.
Cluster tasks that require your presence: securing property, attorney meetings, walkthroughs, estate sale, final clearance, and closing.
